Victoria knew it was a chore for Robert to go up and down but texting him worked much better than going up and down the staircase. It wasn't a common thing that she asked him to take the stairs. Vanessa was perched on Victoria's shoulder and the red head had her arms around the youngest of the twins. When Jason asked about what had her upset she wasn't sure what to say. Vanessa just left her mom's arms for her dad's. Victoria was used to the girls always running to their dad when they were upset.

It was Victoria though who spoke. "I'm going to go finish dinner. If you two need me. Call me" she whispered as she passed by her husband. Though it wasn't without stealing a quick kiss and a brush on his shoulder. Though she stopped in the hallway, out of sight. She could feel her daughter's emotions hurting. That kind of thing always took its toll on her.

"Everyone is so upset.." Vanessa stated. It was nothing with which she was used to dealing. Her parents were upset, her siblings were upset. "I.." she didn't bring up her sister. Her sister wasn't here to comfort her. The teen wrapped her arms around her dad and buried her head. Vanessa was the quieter more subdued of the two.
